Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking an MRI technologist to produce high-quality MRI images and support radiology teams across its facilities. You will follow physician instructions, operate MRI and x-ray equipment, and position patients to optimize imaging results.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Radiology, MR certification (ARRT/ARMRIT), and BLS per AHA standards. You may participate in IVs, contrast administration, QA, and patient service tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiology is required.
• MR certification through ARRT or ARMRIT is required.
• BLS certification via AHA is required.

Responsibilities

• Produce MRI images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
• Interpret physician instructions and operate MR scanner and x-ray equipment as needed.
• Position patients to obtain optimal images.
• Start IVs and pre-screen outpatients before contrast exams.
• Prepare and administer contrast material using a power injector.
• Maintain professionalism and assist in QA, stock, and patient service.
