Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an MRI Technologist for St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, VA. You will perform MRI scans, ensure protocol compliance, and contribute to student training under Radiology leadership.

Responsibilities include patient prep, image acquisition, safety monitoring, and collaboration with physicians and technologists. Requires ARRT MRI registry or ARMRIT and BLS; state licensure preferred. 40-hour week, day/afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree; ARRT registry required or ARMRIT (depending on role)
• ARRT MRI registry or equivalent required/preferred
• BLS certification by AHA
• State licensure preferred depending on state

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI according to established protocols
• Operates MRI equipment and associated devices
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Participates in education and onboarding of staff and students
• Assists in quality control and audits
