Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 7-on/7-off graveyard shift (8pm–6am). The role focuses on high-quality MRI imaging, patient care, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT or ARRT MRI cross-trained in MRI.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.
• Five cases per specialty procedure with pass-off by lead MRI staff.
• Preferred: 1–2 years MRI technologist experience; Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency in MRI exam protocols.
• Verify patient identification, prep, and positioning for the exam.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review image quality.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe workspace.
• Complete studies within acceptable time without compromising patient care.
• Educate patients and assist other MRI staff during exams.
• Document patient information and incidental findings.
