Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah, is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality imaging. This 7 on‑7 off graveyard shift runs from 8pm to 6am, offering growth opportunities in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT or ARRT R cross-trained in MRI.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT/ARRT or modality competency in MRI and related functions.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, and ensures proper identification.
• Performs MRI exams per protocol and reviews image quality.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Documents procedures and maintains accurate patient records.
• Instructs and assists students and other MRI staff as needed.
