Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our night shift team. This 7 on/7 off graveyard role involves performing diagnostic MRI exams, adhering to safety protocols, and delivering high-quality imaging for patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT MR certification (or ARMRIT) with BLS, IV competency, and strong patient‑care skills. A sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification (or cross-trained in MRI)
• BLS certification for healthcare providers
• IV competency within 30 days of hire
• Proficiency in multiple MRI areas for Level II qualification

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT/ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Prepares the patient for the exam and verifies identity.
• Performs exams per department protocol and reviews image quality.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care.
• Educates and assists students/colleagues in protocols and equipment.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Follows coding, charging, consents and QC protocols.
