Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard CT Technologist role at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT. The position supports diagnostic MRI exams and requires ARRT MR/ARMRIT certification and BLS.

Hours are 8pm–6am with a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance possible. A challenging, fast-paced environment values patient care and teamwork, offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT or ARRT R MRI cross-trained in MRI.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT/ARRT MR/ARMRIT competencies in clinical and technical functions.
• Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares patient for exams.
• Performs MRI exams per protocol and reviews images for quality and accuracy.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.
• Assists and instructs students and other MRI staff in exam protocols and equipment.
• Provides patient education, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Follows infection control and sterile techniques.
