Job summary

UofL Health in Louisville, KY is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate a magnetic resonance scanner and obtain diagnostic images for physicians. The role requires MR Radiologic Technology training, ARRT MR certification, and a Kentucky Radiation Operator's License (preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MR Radiologic Technology program.
• MRI experience preferred.
• Valid Kentucky Radiation Operator's License preferred.
• ARRT certification and MR ARRT credential within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures to deliver quality patient care per Radiologist protocols.
• Ensures compliance with National Patient Safety goals.
• Reports any identified compliance matters.
• Participates in department quality assurance for safety and satisfaction.
• Uses standard precautions, including PPE, at all times.
• Contributes to efficient department operation and resource use.
