Job summary

UofL Health in Louisville, KY is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI systems, obtain patient histories, and ensure safe imaging procedures. The role focuses on quality patient care and adherence to radiology protocols within a high-volume clinical setting.

Qualifications include MR Radiologic Technology education, ARRT MR certification or eligibility within 2 years, and BLS per AHA standards. MRI experience is preferred; no remote work offered for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MR Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT MR Certification or eligibility required within 2 years of employment.
• BLS certification (AHA) within 30 days of employment is required.
• MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures to ensure high quality patient care per radiologist protocols.
• Ensures compliance with National Patient Safety goals.
• Supports and reports identified compliance matters.
• Participates in department QA programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Uses standard precautions including PPE at all times.
• Maintains patient records and performs QA on MRI scanner as needed.
