Qualifications

• Graduate of an MR Radiologic Technology program with hospital exposure.
• ARRT MR certification is required or in process.
• Kentucky Radiation Operator’s License strongly preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI scanners to acquire diagnostic images per radiologist guidelines.
• Maintains high safety standards and applies MRI safety protocols.
• Obtains patient history and screening forms; explains procedures.
• Maintains patient records and performs quality assurance on the MRI system.
• Adheres to HIPAA and privacy policies during care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
