Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MR radiologic technology program.
• ARRT MR certification and Kentucky Radiation Operator’s License.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures according to radiologist protocols and safety standards.
• Ensures compliance with safety goals and regulatory requirements.
• Prepares and administers contrast media per policy and procedure.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures and addresses concerns.
• Maintains patient records and performs quality assurance on the MRI scanner.
