Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MR Radiologic Technology program.
• Previous MRI experience preferred.
• Valid Kentucky Radiation Operator’s License (strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures to ensure high-quality patient care per Radiologist's protocols.
• Maintain MRI safety and abide by high-field strength safety policies; use PPE.
• Prepare and administer contrast media per hospital policy and state/federal regulations.
• Obtain patient history, screen forms, explain routine procedures and address patient concerns.
• Maintain patient records and perform quality assurance on the MRI scanner.
