Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist to create cross-sectional MRI images for diagnostic purposes. You will position patients, operate MRI sequences, monitor safety, and ensure high-quality imaging across our New Jersey sites including Newton Medical Center.

Qualification includes a Bachelor's in Radiography, state RT license, and BLS; MR certification is preferred. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a commitment to patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiography or related field.
• State RT License and BLS.
• MR Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and coil per radiologist protocols.
• Operate MRI sequences and adjust transmitters/receivers.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort via control room view.
• Enter patient data and scan parameters into computer.
• Ensure image quality and accurate data entry.
• Warn staff about magnet safety and restricted items.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
