Job summary

Atlantic Health System's radiology department in Hackettstown, NJ is seeking an MRI Technologist to create cross-sectional images using MR equipment. You will position patients, select coils, monitor safety, and ensure high-quality images under radiologist supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Radiography, MR Certification, and BLS, with experience following MRI protocols and maintaining patient communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiography or related field.
• MR Certification and BLS required.
• Experience with MRI protocols and patient safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Position patient on examining table and apply appropriate coil per protocol.
• Operate MRI equipment and select scan sequences as directed by radiologist.
• Enter patient data and scan parameters into the system.
• Monitor patient safety and image quality during scanning.
• Ensure clear communication with patients during the exam.
