Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist for Hackettstown Medical Center. You will position patients, operate MRI equipment, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety.

Qualifications

• Requires MR certification and BLS CPR.
• Bachelor's degree in radiography or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Position patient on examining table and prepare coil per Radiologist protocols.
• Communicate with patient using microphone during examination.
• Enter patient data (history, area scanned, orientation, entry position) into system.
• Set scan sequences and adjust transmitters/receivers in the computer.
• Monitor patient safety via control room and CCTV.
• Review images on display to ensure quality of pictures.
• Enter data to photograph images.
• Warn staff about magnet hazards with metal objects.
