Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months’ relevant MRI experience required (minimum of three in MRI OR successful and documented completion of MWHC/MIF cross-training program)
• American Heart Association CPR required.
• Advanced level certification by the ARRT or ARMRIT in MRI required within one year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for MRI examinations by confirming physicians’ orders and verifying identities.
• Performs MRI examinations on all patient age groups and maintains competency.
• Adheres to departmental policies to ensure quality patient care.
• Greets patients, visitors, physicians, and associates professionally.
• Answers telephones courteously and facilitates Radiology communications.
• Maintains MRI safety and security practices for patients and staff.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and documents department operations.
