Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare seeks a Diagnostic/CT Technologist to prepare patients and perform routine radiographic and CT procedures in accordance with physicians’ orders. You will produce high-quality images and present them with relevant study results for Radiologists to interpret promptly.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration or cross-training completion required.
• CT certification within one year of hire.
• VA State license required for outpatient facilities.
• CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for radiology and CT examinations by confirming orders and identities.
• Performs radiology/CT examinations on all patient age groups and maintains competency.
• Provides support in transporting patients when required.
• Adheres to departmental policies, procedures, standards, and radiation safety guidelines.
• Maintains patient records and communicates results to Radiologist for timely interpretation.
• Greets patients and ensures courteous, confidential service.
