Job summary

Responsibilities include patient preparation, image acquisition, safety adherence, and collaboration with the radiology team. Requires 6 months MRI experience, CPR, and ARRT/ARMRIT certification eligibility within one year, with a 5:00am–2:30pm Monday–Thursday schedule and rotating holidays/on-call.

Qualifications

• Six months’ relevant MRI experience required (minimum or completion of cross-training).
• American Heart Association CPR required.
• Advanced level certification by the ARRT or ARMRIT in MRI required within one year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for MRI examinations by confirming orders and obtaining histories.
• Perform MRI examinations across age groups and maintain competency.
• Greet patients and maintain professional, courteous interactions.
• Answer calls and screen/transfer messages to facilitate Radiology communications.
• Maintain safety and MRI protocol compliance for patients and staff.
• Manage supplies and inventory to ensure service continuity.
• Document procedures and assist in billing and data reporting.
• Participate in PDCA-based performance improvement activities.
• Maintain proficiency in Radiology and organizational information systems.
