Job summary

Isort is seeking an MRI technologist to perform cross-sectional imaging using MRI equipment. You will position patients, select appropriate coils, and ensure high-quality images while maintaining safety protocols in a Morristown, NJ setting.

The role requires an associate degree in Radiology or equivalent, ARRT licensure or MR certification, and BLS. Expect routine clinical duties, charting, and collaboration with radiologists and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited radiology program.
• State License for ARRT candidates through the NJDEP, or MR Certified through ARMRIT
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Position patient on examining table and coil for MRI exam.
• Demonstrate microphone use for patient-technologist communication.
• Enter patient data and exam details into computer.
• Operate scan sequences and adjust transmitters/receivers.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort from control room.
• Review images on display to ensure quality.
• Capture images by entering data on keyboard.
• Warn staff about metal hazards around magnet.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
