Duke Regional Hospital, part of Duke Health, is hiring an MRI Technologist II to operate high-field MRI systems and support radiology procedures in Durham, NC.

The role requires MR safety expertise, ARRT/ARMRIT MR certification within 18 months, and 2+ years of MRI technologist experience. Excellent teamwork, patient care, and education duties are included, with sign-on bonuses and relocation possible.

Qualifications

• Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedure performance.
• Level II requires 2+ years as an MRI technologist.
• ARRT/ARMRIT MR certification expected within 18 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate high field strength MRI systems and related equipment.
• Schedule MR procedures and coordinate patient flow.
• Assist radiologists with protocoling and performance; start IVs and administer contrast as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to education of new technologists.
