Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC, is seeking an MRI Technologist to work Tue-Fri, 5pm-3am, with rotating holidays and call. This on-site role includes a $15,000 commitment bonus and a $3,000 relocation allowance, with a path for career growth within the imaging services.

Responsibilities include MR safety screening, protocol execution, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiologists. Applicants should have ARRT/ARMRIT MR certification eligibility and relevant MR experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility for MR registry/certification.
• ARRT or ARMRIT MR certification within 18 months of employment.
• Two years minimum MR technologist experience (Level II) and four years for Level III promotion.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedures.
• Assist radiologist with protocoling and performing MR procedures.
• Operate MR hardware and administer contrast media per protocol.
• Schedule patients and manage patient flow across MR sites.
• Coordinate education and training for technologists and students.
