Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC seeks an MRI technologist to perform complex imaging with high-field MR systems, ensuring patient safety and uniform image quality.

You will protocol, administer contrast, start IVs, schedule procedures, educate new technologists, and collaborate with radiologists and physicists to develop new MR techniques.

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
• ARRT or ARMRIT MR certification required within 18 months of employment.
• Minimum two years' experience as an MRI technologist (Level II) and progression to higher levels.

Responsabilités

• Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedures.
• Assist radiologist with protocoling and performance of MR exams.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media as directed.
• Evaluate MR scans for technical quality and label images correctly.
• Schedule patients and coordinate multi-site MR procedures.
• Provide education and training for student technologists and new physicians.
