Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC, is seeking an MRI Technologist II to support the MRI suite. The role involves performing complex MR procedures on high-field systems, ensuring safety, accuracy, and patient care across shifts.

Commitment to professional growth is supported by a clinical ladder and ongoing training. Eligible candidates should have ARRT/ARMRIT MR certification within 18 months, at least two years of MR experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT/ARMRIT MR certification within 18 months of employment
• Level II requires two years of MR technologist experience
• Level III requires 4+ years in the specialty
• ARRT/ARMRIT MR certification is required within 18 months
• BLS certification is required

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MR safety before procedures.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per protocol.
• Evaluate MR scans for technical quality and label images.
• Schedule and coordinate MR procedures and patient flow.
• Charge MR procedures and supplies in the EHR.
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media.
• Provide education and training for technologists and students.
• Assist radiologists and physicians with protocol development.
