Qualifications

• ARRT registry in radiologic technology completed (2-year program).
• ARRT MRI registry completed within two years of hire.
• State Licensure on Radiation Protection required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI units and related radiology information systems per protocols.
• Perform MRI procedures and quality control as defined by department.
• Conduct MRI safety screenings and manage consent processes.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations (ACR, Joint Commission).
• Enter accurate patient data into clinical care systems and coordinate workflow.
• Assess patient status and manage IV access and contrast administration.
• Verify insurance pre-authorization prior to scanning.
