Job summary

ChristianaCare Smyrna Outpatient location seeks a Full-Time MRI Technologist to operate MRI units, perform procedures, and ensure safety and quality standards. The role requires ARRT MRI and radiologic tech registrations, Cerner training, and flexible hours.

Responsibilities include safety screenings, data entry, workflow coordination, and patient confidentiality. Licensure and CPR/PEEPS credentials are mandatory, with potential work at alternate locations as needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT registry in radiologic technology required (two-year program).
• ARRT MRI registry required (within 2 years of hire).
• State licensure in Radiation Protection required.
• Complete cross sectional anatomy training.
• CPR certification required.
• PEEPS certification required for positioning/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI units and related systems.
• Perform MRI procedures and quality control per protocol.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and implants.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and Joint Commission.
• Enter patient data into care systems and manage workflow.
• Obtain accurate clinical history and consent.
