Job summary

Christiana Care Health System’s Springside location is seeking a Part-Time MRI Technologist. This role requires ARRT radiologic and MRI credentials, a state radiation license, and CPR certification.

The successful candidate will perform MRI procedures, ensure safety screenings, and maintain compliance with imaging protocols and regulatory standards. The position features two 12-hour shifts weekly (7:30am–8pm) with weekend rotation about every 90 days, and may require flexibility to work at

Qualifications

• ARRT registry in radiologic technology required (two-year accredited program).
• ARRT registry in MRI required (achieved within two years of hire).
• State Licensure on Radiation Protection is required.
• An Associate's degree is required; candidates must attain an Associate of Science degree within 3 years.
• Certification in CPR.
• Yearly PEEPS certification required for proper and safe positioning and transfer of patients.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of MRI units and radiology systems.
• Performs MRI procedures and quality control as defined by department protocols.
• Performs MRI safety screenings for patients and research implanted devices prior to scanning.
• Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Joint Commission standards.
• Completes all imaging and non-imaging procedures in scheduled times.
• Enters accurate patient study information into clinical care systems.
