Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT. You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, work with radiologists and care teams, and ensure high-quality imaging. ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and BLS are required, with IV competency within 30 days.

The role emphasizes MRI safety, patient comfort, and accurate records while following protocols and QC programs. Sign-on and relocation may be considered.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT or cross-trained in MRI.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT/competency in MRI.
• Ensures proper patient identification and prepares the patient for the exam.
• Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.
• Assists and instructs students and other MRI Techs in protocols and equipment.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort.
• Follows infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operates equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
