Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to supervise imaging sections, ensure high‑quality MRI procedures, and maintain equipment and safety standards. The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited MRI program, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT, and a Texas license, with at least four years MRI experience and a leadership background preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of MRI.
• Associates of Science or Higher preferred but not required.
• Four years MRI experience required.
• One year of leadership/supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel in imaging sections and ensures staffing.
• Operates MRI equipment and ensures quality images and safety procedures.
• Maintains inventory and service records; coordinates preventive and emergency maintenance.
• Manages workflow to minimize room turnaround time and optimize throughput.
• Interviews, orients and trains staff; evaluates performance and motivates team.
• Complies with safety policies and participates in CQI activities.
