Job summary

Methodist Hospital Westover Hills in San Antonio, TX is seeking an MRI Technologist (PRN) to support the imaging department. You will supervise assigned personnel, operate MRI equipment, and ensure accurate imaging with fast, safe patient workflow.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited MRI program, ARRT MR or ARMRIT, Texas license, BLS, and four years MRI experience. Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus, with commitment to CQI and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of MRI.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Four years MRI experience.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT and Texas Medical Board License and BLS.
• ARRT MR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel and staffing in imaging sections.
• Demonstrates knowledge of MRI equipment and positioning.
• Maintains inventory and service records; coordinates maintenance.
• Ensures efficient workflow and timely patient starts in MRI.
• Mentors staff, conducts evaluations, and fosters team performance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; communicates professionally.
