Job summary

Methodist Hospital Metropolitan is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to support imaging services and deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT, Texas license, and four years MRI experience; leadership experience is a plus. You will supervise staff, ensure equipment readiness, and maintain efficient MRI workflow while prioritizing patient safety and CQI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of MRI.
• Associates of Science or Higher preferred but not required.
• Four years MRI experience.
• One year of leadership/supervisory or management experience (preferred).
• Required licenses/certifications: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT; Texas Medical Board License; BLS.
• Preferred: ARRT (MR).

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned personnel and assist staffing imaging sections to ensure productivity.
• Demonstrate proficiency in power injectors, MRI positioning and related procedures.
• Maintain inventory, service records, and coordinate preventive/equipment maintenance.
• Ensure efficient workflow, timely patient start, and minimal room turnaround time.
• Interview, orient, train staff; monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Work independently and with teams; communicate professionally with staff, patients and vendors.
