Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of MRI.
• One year of leadership/supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• Texas Medical Board license required.
• BLS certification required (American Red Cross).
• ARRT(MR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises imaging section staff and staffing; evaluates performance and motivates productivity.
• Operates MRI equipment and ensures proper technique and safety in MRI procedures.
• Maintains inventory and service records; coordinates vendor maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Ensures efficient workflow and timely patient start times; manages room turnaround.
• Handles interviews, orientation, training, and staff development; supports performance evaluations.
• Interacts professionally with staff, patients, vendors and the public; exercises problem-solving as needed.
