Job summary

Methodist Hospital Hill Country seeks an experienced MRI Tech to join the team on a PRN basis. The role focuses on high-quality MRI imaging, patient care, and adherence to safety standards within a busy radiology department.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited MRI program, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, and Texas licensure with at least four years of MRI experience. BLS is required; leadership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MRI program.
• Associates degree or higher preferred but not required.
• Minimum four years of MRI experience.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT and Texas Medical Board license required.
• BLS certification required; ARRT MR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned personnel and ensure proper staffing of imaging sections.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate with vendors for uptime.
• Ensure timely patient flow and optimal room turnaround times.
• Lead training, orientation and performance evaluations of staff.
• Support CQI initiatives and safety policies across the department.
