Job summary

Bosch Motorsport North America is seeking an Associate Motorsport Software Engineer to support the development and application of connectivity products for professional motorsport. You will work across global sites and race tracks, with travel 40–60 days per year, to deliver telemetry and cloud-based solutions.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to gather customer requirements, perform HIL tests, and develop tools in MATLAB, Python, and C#.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 1+ years of experience in industry-relevant application engineering (academic or industry experience).
• 1+ years of experience working with industry-standard data acquisition and data analysis software.
• Experience in professional motorsport, significant collegiate racing (e.g., Formula SAE, EcoCAR), or equivalent high-performance environments.

Responsibilities

• Support worldwide development and application of connectivity products and services for motorsport.
• Travel domestically and internationally (approx. 40–60 days/year).
• Develop connectivity and telemetry products at global sites and tracks.
• Deploy trackside to set up telemetry servers and manage wireless connections.
• Provide customer application engineering for telemetry gateway units and cloud services.
• Interface with customers to gather requirements and manage timelines.
• Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and cloud system testing; align feedback with teams.
• Develop internal software tools and scripts (MATLAB, Python, C#, etc.).
• Ensure on-time delivery to meet milestones.
