Job summary

Bosch Motorsport North America is seeking an Associate Motorsport Customer Application Engineer to support development, integration, and optimization of motorsport electronic systems. You will travel 50-80 days per year to track locations and customer facilities, providing expert application engineering and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 1+ year of industry-relevant application engineering experience.
• 1+ year of experience with data analysis using data acquisition and analysis tools.
• Industry experience in professional motorsport or Formula SAE.

Responsibilities

• Customer Application Engineering: collect customer requirements, manage timelines, and deliver technical application support for motorsport products.
• Trackside Diagnostics: real-time diagnostics and troubleshooting at test events and race locations; analyze telemetry and logs.
• Telemetry and Tooling: setup trackside telemetry servers, manage wireless connections, and develop data analysis dashboards.
• Systems Integration and Verification: install, integrate, and validate on-vehicle hardware and software; verify wiring and data flows.
• Virtual Testing (SiL/HiL): conduct SiL/HiL tests and coordinate with development teams on releases.
• Workflow and Software Tool Development: develop internal tools using MATLAB, Python, C#, to improve processes.
• Domestic and International Travel: travel 50-80 days per year to support activities.
