Job summary

Bosch Motorsport North America invites applications for an Associate Motorsport Customer Application Engineer. You will support development, integration, and optimization of motorsport electronic systems across North America, with substantial trackside involvement.

You will collaborate with engineers to collect requirements, analyze telemetry, and provide rapid technical support at races and events. Expect extensive travel and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science required.
• 1+ years’ experience in industry-relevant application engineering.
• 1+ years’ experience with data analysis tools.
• Industry experience in professional motorsport, Formula SAE or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact at customer locations and race tracks.
• Perform trackside diagnostics and real-time data analysis to resolve issues.
• Configure and maintain trackside telemetry servers and data dashboards.
• Install, integrate, and verify on-vehicle electronics hardware and software.
• Run Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop tests to validate updates.
• Develop internal tooling and scripts (MATLAB, Python, C#) to improve workflows.
• Travel domestically and internationally about 50–80 days per year.
