Qualifications

• Six months of experience licensing, titling, and registering motor vehicles, maintaining driver records, and processing license actions.
• Six months of employment as a driving instructor teaching the safe operation of motor vehicles.
• One year of advanced clerical duties with significant public contact and knowledge of regulations.

Responsibilities

• Examine documents for required information and validity to issue credentials or vehicle information.
• Explain policies, statutes and regulations to the public.
• Administer road examinations for non-commercial, commercial and motorcycle licenses.
