Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Trajectory Planning Engineer to advance motion planning for autonomous systems. You will transform high-level goals into real-time paths, collaborating with control and perception teams.

We require 5+ years in robotics software, strong C++ expertise for real-time systems, and experience with RRT, A*, and lattice planners. This role offers 100% remote work and competitive USD compensation.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience focusing on motion planning or robotics.
Experience with planning algorithms such as RRT, A*, lattice planners.
Advanced proficiency in C++ for real-time systems.
Experience with real-time constraints and optimization-based motion planning.
Strong understanding of robotics fundamentals and kinematics.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Design and implement motion planning algorithms and lattice planners for autonomous systems.
Develop and optimize trajectory generation under physical limits.
Manage real-time constraints for high-frequency path updates.
Collaborate with control and perception teams to integrate planning with sensors.
