Job summary

BairesDev, a leader in technology projects with a globally distributed team, seeks a Software Engineer (Motion Planning) to craft autonomous-navigation logic and translate perception data into smooth trajectories in a remote environment.

You will design motion planning solutions, optimize trajectories, and collaborate with control and perception teams while ensuring real-time performance and high-quality simulations. This role offers strong growth within a global Top 1% tech talent environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in robotics or autonomous vehicles.
• Proficiency with motion planning algorithms (RRT, A*, lattice).
• Strong C++ and trajectory optimization experience.
• Experience with real-time constraints and MPC.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement motion planning algorithms for urban and highway scenarios.
• Optimize trajectory generation for safety, comfort, and robustness across autonomous platforms.
• Develop and integrate pathfinding solutions using graph-based and sampling planners.
• Collaborate with control and perception teams for seamless system integration.
• Enforce real-time execution standards to ensure responsiveness in dynamic environments.
• Validate planning logic through simulations and data-driven analyses.
