Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Motion Planning Engineer to design and develop decision-making and path-execution logic for autonomous systems. You will create efficient, collision-free trajectories allowing robots to navigate complex environments in real time.

You will work with perception and control teams to integrate planning into the autonomy stack, optimize high‑performance code for real‑time requirements, and advance planning strategies through rigorous simulation and testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on robotics or autonomous vehicles.
• Advanced proficiency in C++ for developing high‑performance, real‑time robotics applications.
• Proven expertise in implementing motion planning algorithms such as RRT, A*, or lattice planners.
• Hands-on experience with trajectory optimization and managing real-time constraints in autonomous systems.
• Strong understanding of kinematics and motion planning fundamentals for robotics.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement motion planning algorithms for complex navigational tasks.
• Develop trajectory optimization techniques for smooth and safe movement in dynamic environments.
