BairesDev is seeking an AV Engineer to advance autonomous vehicle behaviors and on-vehicle decision-making. You will design high-performance, real-time systems in C++ and translate robotics fundamentals into reliable software that handles uncertainty.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on autonomous vehicles or robotics.
• Proven expertise in C++ and fundamental robotics concepts.
• Hands-on experience developing decision-making algorithms and planning under uncertainty.
• Deep understanding of on-vehicle autonomy logic and AV safety patterns.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated decision-making algorithms for autonomous vehicle navigation.
• Develop and refine on-vehicle autonomy logic to handle a wide range of real-world driving scenarios.
• Apply robotics fundamentals to create robust systems that operate effectively under uncertainty.
