Greater Nevada Mortgage in Carson City, NV is hiring a Mortgage Servicing Specialist to support all aspects of servicing, including payments, escrow, and loss mitigation. You will work with borrowers and internal teams to ensure accurate processing and timely communications.

The role emphasizes high attention to detail, multi-tasking, and strong written/verbal communication, with compensation in a $35.5k–$55k range plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service experience required.
• Mortgage servicing experience preferred.
• Loss mitigation or collections experience preferred.
• Payment processing and balancing experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Programs (Word/Advanced Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt and accurate application of mortgage loan payments and payoff transactions.
• Resolve servicing concerns and escalate to management as needed.
• Perform account administration including notices, onboarding, ARM adjustments, lien releases.
• Manage escrow activities: taxes, hazard, flood, and MI; assist borrowers with insurance claims.
• Support default management: investor reporting and loss mitigation options.
• Monitor bankruptcy filings and ensure guideline updates are documented timely.
