Greater Nevada Mortgage in Carson City, NV, is seeking a Mortgage Servicing Specialist to support all facets of mortgage servicing, including customer service, account administration, escrow, and loss mitigation. This role collaborates with multiple departments to ensure timely, high-quality service for members.

The position emphasizes accuracy in payments, escalation handling, and compliance with investor guidelines, with a focus on delivering excellent service in a local Northern Nevada

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service experience required.
• Mortgage Servicing experience preferred.
• Loss Mitigation or Collections experience preferred.
• Payment processing and balancing experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Programs (Word/Advanced Excel/Outlook).
• Strong ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail when performing all job functions.
• Time management skills and organizational skills when gathering information and processing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt and accurate application of mortgage loan payments received, including payoff transactions.
• Resolve servicing concerns, determine root cause, and provide best solution; escalate to management as needed.
• Perform account administration functions including notices, loan onboarding, ARM adjustments, property preservation, and lien releases.
• Perform escrow management including balancing and payment of taxes and insurance; assist borrowers with loss draft claims.
• Perform default management functions including investor reporting and supporting borrowers through loss mitigation, foreclosure, and other solutions.
• Monitor and ensure proper task execution for bankruptcy filings.
• Stay educated on investor guideline updates and document changes timely.
