Greater Nevada Credit Union in Reno is seeking a Loss Mitigation Specialist to support risk management by managing a portfolio of delinquent accounts and reducing losses through pre-collections, collections, and recovery.

You will coordinate payment arrangements, promote loan modifications, prepare agreements, and generate reports; also assist with bankruptcy litigations, BSA reporting, and disputes. Location options include the Reno Operations Center or Carson City Eagle Station Admin Location.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Financial Institution experience or related loss mitigation/collections experience required.
• 1 year of Customer Service experience required.
• 1 year of Loss Mitigation experience preferred.
• Collections experience preferred.
• Member services experience a plus.
• Dynamic decision-maker.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate payment arrangements with members and document contacts.
• Promote loan modifications and deferments to reduce delinquencies.
• Prepare payment agreements for negative share accounts and monitor payments.
• Generate reports and track statistics to support operations.
• Coordinate and process bankruptcy litigation.
• Review transactions and prepare reports for BSA filing.
• Assist with card disputes and fraud investigations.
• Respond to consumer credit disputes and bureau exceptions.
• Handle collateral repossession and total loss processing with records.
