Job summary

Bank Midwest is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processing Manager in the Kansas City area to lead the end-to-end mortgage processing workflow, ensure timely and compliant processing, and drive efficiency across the team. The role focuses on coaching processors, coordinating with loan officers and underwriters, and maintaining audit-ready, regulator-ready files.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years managing a mortgage loan processing team.
• Driving may be required; valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mortgage processing function from application to underwriting and closing.
• Oversee daily workflow, staff performance, compliance and service delivery to internal partners and clients.
• Coach and develop processors; optimize operational processes; ensure all files meet regulatory, investor and company quality standards.
• Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters and processors; supervise hiring, onboarding and training; lead team meetings.
