Mid America Bank seeks an experienced Loan Processing Manager to lead our Loan Processing Department in Wardsville. This role combines technical expertise with people leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient loan processing from approval through documentation, closing, and handoff.

The successful candidate will guide a multi-specialty team serving consumer, residential, mortgage, commercial, agricultural, and real estate lending.

Qualifications

• At least five years of loan processing, loan operations, or related banking experience.
• Strong understanding of loan processing systems, documentation, controls, and workflow management; proficient with loan software applications and Microsoft Office.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience, with ability to coach employees and hold others accountable.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Loan Processing team.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of loans, renewals, and modifications.
• Manage departmental workflow, quality standards, and internal controls.
• Serve as the primary resource for loan processing systems, technology, and reporting.
• Identify process improvements and implement solutions that increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate across the organization to support lending and operational goals.
• Support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, vendor management, and implementation of procedural changes
