Job summary

The role requires 1–2 years mortgage experience, strong regulatory knowledge (RESPA, FHA/VA), and proven organizational skills; you will maintain accurate loan notes, prepare disclosures, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of residential mortgage process experience.
• Familiar with Conventional, FHA and VA loan documentation.
• Ability to research mortgage guidelines as needed.
• Experience using loan origination software (prefer Encompass).
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Proactively follow up with borrowers and pre-approvals.
• Maintain complete loan files within Encompass and CRM.
• Prepare and send initial disclosures and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate documentation with title companies and third parties.
• Communicate with borrowers and referral partners throughout processing.
• Assist with processing and closing coordination.
