Job summary

Tri City National Bank is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to develop a robust pipeline and close loans efficiently. A proven sales background, regulatory knowledge, and an active NMLS license are essential to succeed in this role.

The position emphasizes building relationships with Realtors, Financial Planners, builders, and other referral sources while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of mortgage loan origination experience; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a strong pipeline of mortgage customers while ensuring timely loan closings.
• Perform all loan origination activities in compliance with applicable regulations and Bank policies and procedures; maintain current knowledge of industry and regulatory changes.
• Guide customers through the entire loan process, from application and analysis through closing, while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Establish clear customer expectations and provide timely status updates to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Develop and execute a business plan with defined marketing activities and production goals; periodically evaluate and adjust as needed.
• Develop new client and referral relationships while maintaining existing partnerships.
• Build effective working relationships within assigned branches, the mortgage department, and other areas of the Bank.
• Collaborate with management to develop loan solutions, products, and services.
• Report any process or procedure that does not meet regulatory requirements, including suspected or confirmed fraud, to management.
