Job summary

State Bank, a high-performing community bank, seeks a Mortgage Sales professional to drive new mortgage business and expand regional growth. You will engage customers, realtors, and community groups, both on-site and off-site, to achieve sales objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent knowledge.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in related positions normally required.
• Excellent interpersonal relations, communication and sales skills.
• Proficient PC skills and working knowledge of bank policies.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in the bank's sales and business development program and develops new mortgage business.
• Solicits new business via in-person, off-site contact and maintains relationships with present customers.
• Maintains detailed records of meetings with customers and reports sales activities to the supervisor.
• Develops relationships with customers, realtors, and community organizations to generate new business.
• spends time on sales activities away from the Bank’s offices and home office and ensures compliance with laws and regulations.
