Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originations Supervisor to lead a small team, ensuring timely processing, underwriting, and closing of loans. You will build strong referral relationships with real estate brokers, builders, and other partners while driving loan volume and meeting annual goals.

The role requires NMLS registration, background/credit checks, and knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA guidelines. On-site presence three days a week is expected for near-location candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of mortgage sales experience.
• Interviewing and recruiting new talent to retain employees.
• Thorough knowledge of mortgage products/services, operations, and market trends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day origination activities for a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Establish referral sources with real estate brokers, builders and other external sources.
• Meet annual loan origination goals and drive production growth.
• Participate in mortgage banking associations and collaborate with U.S. Bank teams.
• Provide coaching and development to mortgage loan originators to improve performance.
