Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in an assigned metropolitan territory and guide applications through preliminary underwriting. You will ensure documents are gathered promptly and drive sales activities to meet production goals.

This remote role requires candidates near our locations to work on-site at least three days per week. A valid NMLS registration and 2+ years of mortgage, sales, or real estate experience are required.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration under S.A.F.E. Act and Regulation Z must be maintained.
• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Two+ years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience.

Responsibilities

• Originates mortgage loans in an assigned metropolitan territory.
• Take applications, conduct preliminary underwriting reviews, submit for approval.
• Spend at least 50% of time on sales activities away from locations.
