Job summary

The role demands at least two years of mortgage sales experience, NMLS registration, and the ability to work remotely with on-site requirements. Expect travel of about two hours weekly as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of mortgage sales experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Ensure documents for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured timely.
• Meet annual loan origination volume goals.
• Establish referral source relationships with real estate brokers, builders and other external sources.
• Collaborate with U.S. Bank Home Mortgage and other lines to grow customer relationships and cross-sell products.
• Recruit and develop talent; interview and retain employees.
• Requires NMLS registration under SAFÉ Act and Regulation Z; background/credit checks; role may involve driving 2+ hours per week.
• Role posted as remote; near locations require on-site at least three days per week.
